HEDLA 2022 will be held at Lisbon Academy of Sciences in Lisbon, Portugal, on May 23rd-27th, 2022.
Among its goals, the Lisbon Academy of Sciences aims to foment scientific investigation and spread scientific advances, making it a perfect fit with the objectives of the HEDLA conference.
The venue is located in the heart of downtown Lisbon (see map below). The public transport network allows quick travel to most points of the city. We advise, in particular, the use of the Lisbon underground. The Rato (yellow line) and Baixa-Chiado (green and blue lines) stations are a 15-minute walk from the Lisbon Academy of Sciences.
Accomodation and restaurants
Finding accommodation and good restaurants in Lisbon is fairly straightforward. There are plenty of hotels and restaurants within walking distance from the Lisbon Academy of Sciences. We recommend places within the Rato, Av. Liberdade, Bairro Alto, Príncipe Real, and São Bento areas, all within 15-minute walking distance from the Lisbon Academy of Sciences. Note that this is in the seven hills part of the city.
